The Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre played host to Shen Yun in Atlanta, Georgia from January 15th through 17th. After watching the show, several musicians and artists shared their thoughts.

[Sheffey Gregory, Registered Piano Technician]:
“I really liked integrated the traditional Chinese instruments with the western orchestra. I thought that was very effective. And I particularly enjoyed the string soloist that came out.”

[Bucky Johnson, Mayor of Norcross, Georgia]:
“It is fabulous. I’m a musician. I’m a drummer and my wife is a singer. And so we both have a history of music. And so it’s very different for us to experience this different culture. And it’s quite exciting. Very well put together.”

[Kim Wilson, Ballet Dancer]:
“They’re highly skilled. The jumping. The male dancers keep up with the female dancers, the acrobatics. It’s utterly amazing.”

One couple there said they loved the show and want to tell all their friends about it.

“It’s just amazing how they put the show together and I would love to photograph it…It’s fun, exciting, the whole time, the dancing is just unbelievable. There’s so much talent.”

[Rob Moravek, Home Builder and Contractor]:
“The colors are fantastic and I really don’t know what to look at, there are so many things to look at.”

[Angela Moravek, Photographer]:
“It’s our first time but it won’t be our last, we are going to tell all our friends and family to come and see the show.”

“Absolutely.”

“It’s amazing.”
